Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Investment, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 0.52% or 40.0 points to trade at 7800.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Empresa de Energia de Bogota SA ESP (CN:EEB) added 0.50% or 10.0 points to end at 2030.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 0.22% or 80.0 points to 36900.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which fell 2.24% or 55.0 points to trade at 2405.0 at the close. Promigas (CN:PMG) declined 1.77% or 130.0 points to end at 7200.0 and Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) was down 0.42% or 5.0 points to 1180.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 22 to 5 and 4 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.75% or 0.84 to $110.83 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 2.01% or 46.00 to hit $2247.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1225.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.13% to 2896.25, while BRL/COP rose 1.00% to 773.82.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 94.38.
