Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Investment, Agriculture and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupoaval (CN:GAA), which rose 2.43% or 30.0 points to trade at 1265.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) added 1.78% or 55.0 points to end at 3150.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) was up 1.56% or 500.0 points to 32600.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which fell 1.69% or 0.4 points to trade at 23.2 at the close. Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) declined 0.90% or 120.0 points to end at 13200.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was down 0.83% or 80.0 points to 9600.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 1 to 0.
US coffee C for May delivery was up 1.39% or 1.66 to $121.28 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 0.65% or 16.50 to hit $2534.00 , while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.42% or 5.60 to trade at $1326.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.17% to 2853.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.19% to 874.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 89.71.
