Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (BVC:GAA_p), which rose 2.38% or 11.00 points to trade at 473.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL) added 2.07% or 240.00 points to end at 11,860.00 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC:CFV_p) was up 1.98% or 280.00 points to 14,400.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mineros SA (BVC:MAS), which fell 3.89% or 180.00 points to trade at 4,450.00 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) declined 2.65% or 300.00 points to end at 11,000.00 and Grupo Argos SA (BVC:ARG) was down 2.38% or 480.00 points to 19,720.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Shares in Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 2.07% or 240.00 to 11,860.00.
US coffee C for March delivery was down 1.03% or 3.40 to $327.05 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 3.26% or 353.00 to hit $10,468.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.02% or 27.65 to trade at $2,745.45 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.91% to 4,341.75, while BRL/COP rose 0.16% to 717.11.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 108.80.
