Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Services and Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p), which rose 1.73% or 20.0 points to trade at 1175.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupoaval (CN:GAA) added 0.86% or 10.0 points to end at 1175.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 0.70% or 240.0 points to 34660.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which fell 6.06% or 40.0 points to trade at 620.0 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 3.06% or 95.0 points to end at 3005.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was down 1.77% or 40.0 points to 2220.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 14 to 13 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in Conconcret (CN:CIC) fell to 5-year lows; falling 6.06% or 40.0 to 620.0.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 2.95% or 3.11 to $102.17 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.05% or 1.00 to hit $2145.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.46% or 17.50 to trade at $1183.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.31% to 3053.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.51% to 783.64.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 96.56.
