Meanwhile, Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) added 2.80% or 90.00 points to end at 3,305.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC:SIS_p) was up 2.46% or 600.00 points to 25,020.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Celsia SA (BVC:CEL), which fell 1.59% or 65.00 points to trade at 4,035.00 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) declined 1.08% or 25.00 points to end at 2,295.00 and Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE) was down 0.62% or 80.00 points to 12,780.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 1 to 0.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 1.65% or 3.75 to $223.55 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 0.37% or 28.50 to hit $7,816.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.37% or 32.00 to trade at $2,365.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was unchanged 0.00% to 4,105.00, while BRL/COP rose 1.78% to 738.51.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 105.02.
