Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.13% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (BVC:ETB), which rose 5.56% or 5.00 points to trade at 95.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE) added 4.01% or 540.00 points to end at 14,000.00 and Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) was up 2.22% or 160.00 points to 7,370.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB), which fell 2.26% or 190.00 points to trade at 8,200.00 at the close. Celsia SA (BVC:CEL) declined 2.24% or 95.00 points to end at 4,140.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS) was down 2.24% or 740.00 points to 32,260.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 1.06% or 2.57 to $240.58 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 4.21% or 326.50 to hit $8,089.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.49% or 12.00 to trade at $2,447.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.03% to 4,023.16, while BRL/COP fell 0.48% to 725.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.46% at 103.92.
