Meanwhile, Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) added 5.26% or 400.00 points to end at 8,000.00 and Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) was up 1.94% or 65.00 points to 3,410.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC:CFV), which fell 1.86% or 260.00 points to trade at 13,720.00 at the close. Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC:SIS_p) declined 1.59% or 380.00 points to end at 23,520.00 and Celsia SA (BVC:CEL) was down 1.27% or 55.00 points to 4,265.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 1 to 0.

US coffee C for September delivery was up 0.76% or 1.85 to $244.00 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 8.11% or 697.00 to hit $7,898.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.84% or 44.70 to trade at $2,473.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.10% to 3,977.11, while BRL/COP rose 1.47% to 733.13.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 103.93.
