Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.05% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p), which rose 3.66% or 270.00 points to trade at 7,650.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH) added 1.92% or 1,000.00 points to end at 53,000.00 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC:CFV) was up 1.47% or 200.00 points to 13,800.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupo Energia Bogota SA ESP (BVC:GEB), which fell 4.94% or 130.00 points to trade at 2,500.00 at the close. Etb (BVC:ETB) declined 4.76% or 4.00 points to end at 80.00 and Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE) was down 3.85% or 500.00 points to 12,500.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
US coffee C for September delivery was up 0.65% or 1.50 to $232.65 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 4.55% or 374.00 to hit $7,853.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 2.16% or 52.25 to trade at $2,363.45 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.04% to 4,031.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.24% to 714.19.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 104.15.
