Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Investment and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 8.89% or 820.0 points to trade at 10040.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Aval Acciones Y Valores Pf (CN:GAA_p) added 1.68% or 20.0 points to end at 1210.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 1.67% or 25.0 points to 1525.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which fell 1.88% or 0.3 points to trade at 16.0 at the close. Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) declined 1.27% or 90.0 points to end at 6970.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was down 1.03% or 120.0 points to 11480.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 16 to 15.

US coffee C for September delivery was down 3.70% or 5.08 to $132.12 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 1.88% or 58.00 to hit $3026.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 1.40% or 15.50 to trade at $1123.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.09% to 2939.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.07% to 844.69.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.01% at 96.25.
