Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 1.75% or 200.0 points to trade at 11600.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 1.52% or 25.0 points to end at 1670.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was up 1.49% or 180.0 points to 12280.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI), which fell 3.56% or 800.0 points to trade at 21660.0 at the close. Isagen SA (CN:ISG) declined 2.48% or 70.0 points to end at 2755.0 and Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) was down 1.97% or 150.0 points to 7450.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 16 to 10 and 2 ended unchanged.
Shares in Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) fell to 3-years lows; down 3.56% or 800.0 to 21660.0.
US coffee C for July delivery was up 1.32% or 1.68 to $128.28 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 2.13% or 68.50 to hit $3279.00 , while the August Gold contract rose 2.09% or 24.60 to trade at $1201.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.08% to 2525.00, while BRL/COP fell 1.39% to 824.41.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.29% at 94.21.
