Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 1.29% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC:CFV_p), which rose 2.29% or 320.00 points to trade at 14,280.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE) added 1.83% or 200.00 points to end at 11,100.00 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA) was up 1.21% or 200.00 points to 16,700.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (BVC:GAA_p), which fell 2.62% or 12.00 points to trade at 446.00 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC:CFV) declined 2.13% or 320.00 points to end at 14,680.00 and Grupo Energia Bogota SA ESP (BVC:GEB) was down 1.81% or 45.00 points to 2,440.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 1 to 0.
US coffee C for March delivery was up 1.58% or 5.05 to $324.80 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 3.93% or 459.00 to hit $11,216.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.15% or 30.44 to trade at $2,671.44 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.47% to 4,384.10, while BRL/COP fell 0.04% to 712.58.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.73% at 109.09.
