Meanwhile, Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) added 3.07% or 980.0 points to end at 32880.0 and Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) was up 1.97% or 25.0 points to 1295.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Etb (CN:ETB), which fell 4.05% or 23.0 points to trade at 545.0 at the close. Empresa de Energia de Bogota SA ESP (CN:EEB) declined 0.76% or 15.0 points to end at 1965.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) was 0.00% or 0.0 points to 25.3.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 22 to 4 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Etb (CN:ETB) fell to 52-week lows; down 4.05% or 23.0 to 545.0.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.98% or 1.30 to $130.95 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.70% or 13.00 to hit $1838.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.59% or 7.58 to trade at $1287.28 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.03% to 2968.48, while BRL/COP rose 0.74% to 943.42.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 93.41.
