Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Public Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 1.09%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which rose 5.26% or 300.0 points to trade at 6000.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) added 3.32% or 65.0 points to end at 2020.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) was up 2.91% or 30.0 points to 1060.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which fell 1.50% or 60.0 points to trade at 3930.0 at the close. Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) declined 1.19% or 160.0 points to end at 13280.0 and Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) was down 0.64% or 200.0 points to 30980.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 17 to 7 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in Celsia SA (CN:CEL) fell to 52-week lows; losing 1.50% or 60.0 to 3930.0.
US coffee C for March delivery was down 2.72% or 3.10 to $111.00 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 1.17% or 25.00 to hit $2120.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 0.90 to trade at $1228.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.53% to 3244.50, while BRL/COP fell 2.31% to 823.56.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 96.965.
