Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.80%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (BVC:ETB), which rose 5.56% or 5.00 points to trade at 95.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Banco De Bogota SA (BVC:BBO) added 1.70% or 460.00 points to end at 27,460.00 and Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) was up 1.25% or 30.00 points to 2,430.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA), which fell 2.61% or 1,620.00 points to trade at 60,360.00 at the close. Celsia SA (BVC:CEL) declined 2.31% or 95.00 points to end at 4,020.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC:SIS_p) was down 2.01% or 500.00 points to 24,340.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 1 to 0.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.40% or 0.90 to $226.40 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 1.63% or 149.00 to hit $9,300.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.65% or 15.20 to trade at $2,344.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.04% to 4,149.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.11% to 762.63.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 104.89.
