Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Public Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.76%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which rose 6.47% or 110.0 points to trade at 1810.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 1.85% or 180.0 points to end at 9920.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) was up 1.39% or 380.0 points to 27640.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which fell 4.01% or 380.0 points to trade at 9100.0 at the close. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 2.94% or 80.0 points to end at 2645.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) was down 2.61% or 35.0 points to 1305.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 18 to 12 and 3 ended unchanged.

US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.72% or 0.90 to $124.72 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 2.95% or 62.50 to hit $2181.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 4.41 to trade at $1277.19 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.13% to 3036.08, while BRL/COP fell 0.82% to 927.95.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 94.78.
