Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.76%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (BVC:ETB), which rose 5.56% or 5.00 points to trade at 95.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) added 5.26% or 400.00 points to end at 8,000.00 and Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE) was up 3.08% or 400.00 points to 13,380.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupo Energia Bogota SA ESP (BVC:GEB), which fell 1.95% or 50.00 points to trade at 2,510.00 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC:CFV_p) declined 1.95% or 260.00 points to end at 13,080.00 and Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH) was down 1.81% or 960.00 points to 52,000.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Shares in Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) rose to 5-year highs; up 5.26% or 400.00 to 8,000.00.
US coffee C for September delivery was up 0.80% or 1.95 to $245.50 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 5.68% or 458.50 to hit $8,529.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.73% or 41.20 to trade at $2,420.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.03% to 3,974.04, while BRL/COP fell 0.32% to 730.54.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.54% at 104.16.
