Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.69%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA), which rose 5.27% or 920.00 points to trade at 18,380.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) added 4.61% or 350.00 points to end at 7,950.00 and Promigas (BVC:PMG) was up 3.20% or 240.00 points to 7,740.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO), which fell 3.32% or 70.00 points to trade at 2,040.00 at the close. Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH) declined 2.44% or 1,380.00 points to end at 55,120.00 and Grupo Energia Bogota SA ESP (BVC:GEB) was down 1.23% or 30.00 points to 2,415.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Shares in Promigas (BVC:PMG) rose to 52-week highs; rising 3.20% or 240.00 to 7,740.00.
US coffee C for September delivery was up 1.05% or 2.50 to $239.50 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.18% or 12.50 to hit $6,979.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.60% or 14.85 to trade at $2,494.55 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.03% to 4,009.10, while BRL/COP fell 0.40% to 731.03.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.48% at 102.88.
