Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Public Services and Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.65%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 2.34% or 55.0 points to trade at 2405.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) added 1.59% or 220.0 points to end at 14020.0 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) was up 1.50% or 360.0 points to 24360.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which fell 1.97% or 150.0 points to trade at 7450.0 at the close. Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) declined 1.63% or 320.0 points to end at 19340.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) was down 1.28% or 15.0 points to 1155.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 16 to 8 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) fell to all time lows; falling 1.97% or 150.0 to 7450.0. Shares in Grupoaval (CN:GAA) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.28% or 15.0 to 1155.0.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 1.31% or 1.45 to $109.47 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 2.85% or 64.00 to hit $2312.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.76% or 9.40 to trade at $1222.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.03% to 2884.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.34% to 769.90.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.59% at 94.53.
