Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Investment, Public Services and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.62%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which rose 2.31% or 105.0 points to trade at 4655.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) added 2.27% or 820.0 points to end at 36920.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) was up 2.02% or 190.0 points to 9590.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which fell 1.40% or 140.0 points to trade at 9840.0 at the close. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 0.78% or 0.2 points to end at 25.5 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) was down 0.75% or 100.0 points to 13180.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 18 to 11 and 3 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.31% or 0.39 to $126.83 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 0.97% or 21.00 to hit $2143.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 4.18 to trade at $1278.72 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.38% to 3028.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.38% to 914.04.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 93.71.
