Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.39%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1), which rose 1.42% or 460.0 points to trade at 32920.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) added 1.31% or 280.0 points to end at 21580.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) was up 0.98% or 300.0 points to 31000.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which fell 1.87% or 1280.0 points to trade at 67180.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 0.63% or 60.0 points to end at 9540.0 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) was down 0.60% or 80.0 points to 13360.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 10 to 8 and 16 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.13% or 0.17 to $128.30 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.45% or 8.50 to hit $1875.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 1.65 to trade at $1290.75 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.35% to 2988.47, while BRL/COP rose 1.32% to 950.29.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 93.33.
