Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Investment and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which rose 3.54% or 1180.0 points to trade at 34500.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) added 2.47% or 820.0 points to end at 33960.0 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS) was up 0.89% or 320.0 points to 36240.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Etb (CN:ETB), which fell 6.20% or 24.0 points to trade at 363.0 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) declined 1.51% or 120.0 points to end at 7830.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was down 1.28% or 40.0 points to 3090.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 12 to 10 and 4 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for September delivery was up 1.17% or 1.25 to $108.33 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 1.78% or 37.00 to hit $2043.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.50% or 6.10 to trade at $1226.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.17% to 2898.05, while BRL/COP rose 1.01% to 780.58.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 94.84.
