Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.26% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which rose 4.74% or 18.0 points to trade at 398.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) added 3.28% or 65.0 points to end at 2045.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 1.67% or 580.0 points to 35300.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Etb (CN:ETB), which fell 3.48% or 12.0 points to trade at 333.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 2.62% or 250.0 points to end at 9300.0 and Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) was down 0.84% or 10.0 points to 1185.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 16 to 11 and 3 ended unchanged.
Shares in Etb (CN:ETB) fell to all time lows; down 3.48% or 12.0 to 333.0.
US coffee C for December delivery was down 2.32% or 2.45 to $103.17 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 1.17% or 27.50 to hit $2319.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.73% or 8.90 to trade at $1207.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.22% to 2968.70, while BRL/COP fell 0.13% to 717.67.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 94.62.
