Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Public Services and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemargos (CN:CCB), which rose 3.48% or 330.0 points to trade at 9800.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupoaval (CN:GAA) added 1.23% or 15.0 points to end at 1235.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 1.20% or 30.0 points to 2535.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA), which fell 1.23% or 160.0 points to trade at 12820.0 at the close. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 0.95% or 4.0 points to end at 416.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) was down 0.81% or 8.0 points to 980.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 1 to 0.
US coffee C for May delivery was down 0.54% or 0.64 to $118.28 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 0.26% or 6.50 to hit $2524.50 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 4.30 to trade at $1313.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.30% to 2855.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.58% to 870.88.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 90.21.
