Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Public Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (CN:ETB), which rose 3.80% or 13.0 points to trade at 355.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupoaval (CN:GAA) added 1.28% or 15.0 points to end at 1190.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was down 0.12% or 40.0 points to 34520.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which fell 6.06% or 40.0 points to trade at 620.0 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to end at 8100.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) was up 0.12% or 40.0 points to 33560.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 16 to 8 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in Conconcret (CN:CIC) fell to 5-year lows; losing 6.06% or 40.0 to 620.0.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.66% or 0.67 to $101.25 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.51% or 11.00 to hit $2144.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.62% or 7.30 to trade at $1191.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.13% to 3025.55, while BRL/COP fell 0.10% to 773.07.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.50% at 96.00.
