Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Investment, Services and Public Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 3.20% or 75.0 points to trade at 2420.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) added 1.67% or 320.0 points to end at 19460.0 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) was up 0.74% or 180.0 points to 24480.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which fell 2.13% or 170.0 points to trade at 7820.0 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) declined 1.20% or 100.0 points to end at 8200.0 and Celsia SA (CN:CEL) was down 0.87% or 40.0 points to 4540.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 15 to 14 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) fell to all time lows; down 2.13% or 170.0 to 7820.0.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.95% or 1.04 to $108.08 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 2.99% or 72.00 to hit $2335.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.03% or 0.40 to trade at $1227.70 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.22% to 2876.45, while BRL/COP rose 0.15% to 748.10.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 94.84.
