Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Investment and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupoaval (CN:GAA), which rose 1.67% or 20.0 points to trade at 1220.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) added 1.35% or 460.0 points to end at 34660.0 and Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) was up 1.20% or 320.0 points to 26940.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Etb (CN:ETB), which fell 1.53% or 6.0 points to trade at 385.0 at the close. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) declined 1.33% or 920.0 points to end at 68060.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was down 1.05% or 100.0 points to 9400.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 15 to 11 and 6 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.48% or 0.56 to $116.22 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 1.39% or 35.50 to hit $2521.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 5.30 to trade at $1269.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.13% to 2952.50, while BRL/COP rose 1.62% to 784.36.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 94.50.
