Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Public Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.09% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which rose 1.16% or 55.0 points to trade at 4800.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) added 0.51% or 140.0 points to end at 27820.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 0.50% or 10.0 points to 2025.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupoaval (CN:GAA), which fell 2.69% or 35.0 points to trade at 1265.0 at the close. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 2.27% or 0.6 points to end at 25.8 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was down 1.11% or 120.0 points to 10680.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 14 to 10 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) rose to 52-week highs; up 0.51% or 140.0 to 27820.0. Shares in Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) rose to 52-week highs; up 0.50% or 10.0 to 2025.0.
US coffee C for March delivery was down 1.31% or 1.60 to $120.45 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 4.94% or 94.00 to hit $1807.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.65% or 8.20 to trade at $1278.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.27% to 2958.00, while BRL/COP fell 1.19% to 885.89.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 92.91.
