Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Public Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p), which rose 0.81% or 10.0 points to trade at 1245.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Bcolombia (CN:BIC) added 0.67% or 220.0 points to end at 33300.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 0.42% or 140.0 points to 33540.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p), which fell 2.24% or 380.0 points to trade at 16620.0 at the close. Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) declined 1.32% or 460.0 points to end at 34340.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) was down 1.31% or 5.0 points to 377.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 18 to 7 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Etb (CN:ETB) fell to 3-years lows; falling 1.31% or 5.0 to 377.0.
US coffee C for July delivery was up 2.70% or 3.25 to $123.67 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 2.44% or 61.50 to hit $2461.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 2.20 to trade at $1299.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.43% to 2890.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.40% to 776.01.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 93.97.
