Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Public Services, Investment and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA), which rose 3.36% or 460.0 points to trade at 14160.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Conconcret (CN:CIC) added 3.03% or 10.0 points to end at 340.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was up 1.60% or 260.0 points to 16560.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV), which fell 3.45% or 600.0 points to trade at 16800.0 at the close. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 2.94% or 50.0 points to end at 1650.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was down 1.96% or 640.0 points to 31960.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 12 to 9 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) fell to 5-year lows; down 3.45% or 600.0 to 16800.0. Shares in Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.94% or 50.0 to 1650.0.
US coffee C for March delivery was up 1.51% or 1.50 to $100.90 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 1.85% or 42.00 to hit $2313.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.52% or 6.50 to trade at $1247.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.61% to 3216.75, while BRL/COP rose 0.73% to 823.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 96.410.
