Investing.com – Brazil stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real Estate, Industrials and Consumption sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Sao Paulo, the Bovespa gained 0.69%.
The best performers of the session on the Bovespa were Petroleo Brasileiro SA PN (SA:PETR4), which rose 4.16% or 0.82 points to trade at 20.52 at the close. Meanwhile, Petroleo Brasileiro SA (SA:PETR3) added 3.90% or 0.83 points to end at 22.13 and Cyrela Brazil Realty SA (SA:CYRE3) was up 3.67% or 0.55 points to 15.53 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Banco Bradesco SA (SA:BBDC3), which fell 2.87% or 1.13 points to trade at 38.20 at the close. Banco Bradesco SA Pref (SA:BBDC4) declined 2.65% or 1.08 points to end at 39.67 and Raia Drogasil SA (SA:RADL3) was down 2.07% or 1.75 points to 82.68.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the BM&FBovespa Stock Exchange by 211 to 207 and 36 ended unchanged.

The CBOE Brazil Etf Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of Bovespa options, was down 0.24% to 29.02.
Gold Futures for April delivery was up 0.68% or 9.10 to $1352.20 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March rose 2.01% or 1.30 to hit $66.03 a barrel, while the March US coffee C contract fell 0.61% or 0.75 to trade at $121.28 .
USD/BRL was down 0.57% to 3.1675, while EUR/BRL rose 0.22% to 3.9634.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.54% at 88.47.
