Investing.com – Brazil stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Real Estate and Electric Power sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Sao Paulo, the Bovespa added 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the Bovespa were Embraer SA (BVMF:EMBR3), which rose 4.73% or 2.56 points to trade at 56.69 at the close. Meanwhile, Lwsa SA (BVMF:LWSA3) added 3.19% or 0.13 points to end at 4.26 and Azzas 2154 SA (BVMF:AZZA3) was up 2.69% or 1.08 points to 41.18 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were IRB Brasil Resseguros SA (BVMF:IRBR3), which fell 6.85% or 2.98 points to trade at 40.50 at the close. Raizen SA Preferred (BVMF:RAIZ4) declined 6.42% or 0.17 points to end at 2.48 and Hapvida Participacoes e Investimentos (BVMF:HAPV3) was down 6.34% or 0.21 points to 3.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the B3 Stock Exchange by 501 to 449 and 61 ended unchanged.

The CBOE Brazil Etf Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of Bovespa options, was up 21.07% to 41.09 a new 52-week high.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 1.08% or 28.05 to $2,578.25 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.12% or 0.08 to hit $68.04 a barrel, while the March US coffee C contract rose 3.43% or 9.03 to trade at $272.13 .
USD/BRL was unchanged 0.00% to 5.81, while EUR/BRL unchanged 0.06% to 6.13.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 106.40.
