Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical Industry and Construction & Building Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were IB Maroc Com SA (CS:IBC), which rose 9.99% or 15.65 points to trade at 172.25 at the close. Meanwhile, Risma (CS:RIS) added 4.91% or 8.00 points to end at 171.00 and Snep (CS:SNP) was up 4.77% or 32.50 points to 714.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Afriquia Gaz (CS:AGAZ1), which fell 5.73% or 169 points to trade at 2781 at the close. Timar (CS:TIM) declined 2.99% or 7.35 points to end at 238.60 and Ennakl Automobiles SA (CS:NKL) was down 2.98% or 1.69 points to 55.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 16 to 15 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in IB Maroc Com SA (CS:IBC) rose to 3-years highs; rising 9.99% or 15.65 to 172.25. Shares in Snep (CS:SNP) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 4.77% or 32.50 to 714.50.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.99% or 0.48 to $49.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.14% or 0.61 to hit $53.99 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.41% or 5.53 to trade at $1338.97 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.04% to 11.1570, while USD/MAD fell 0.06% to 9.3707.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 92.17.
