Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare, Financials and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Amsterdam, the AEX fell 0.41%.
The best performers of the session on the AEX were Takeaway Com Holding BV (AS:TKWY), which rose 2.94% or 2.3000 points to trade at 80.6000 at the close. Meanwhile, Relx PLC (AS:REL) added 0.93% or 0.200 points to end at 21.720 and IMCD NV (AS:IMCD) was up 0.68% or 0.55 points to 80.95 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were WFD Unibail Rodamco NV (AS:URW), which fell 3.65% or 4.90 points to trade at 129.25 at the close. Koninklijke Ahold Delhaize NV (AS:AD) declined 3.10% or 0.650 points to end at 20.325 and ABN AMRO Group NV (AS:ABNd) was down 2.80% or 0.53 points to 18.43.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 76 to 55 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in Takeaway Com Holding BV (AS:TKWY) rose to all time highs; up 2.94% or 2.3000 to 80.6000. Shares in WFD Unibail Rodamco NV (AS:URW) fell to 5-year lows; falling 3.65% or 4.90 to 129.25. Shares in IMCD NV (AS:IMCD) rose to all time highs; up 0.68% or 0.55 to 80.95. Shares in ABN AMRO Group NV (AS:ABNd) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.80% or 0.53 to 18.43.
The AEX Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was up 6.06% to 13.01.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.16% or 0.09 to $57.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.85% or 0.55 to hit $63.90 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.32% or 18.45 to trade at $1418.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.24% to 1.1393, while EUR/GBP rose 0.34% to 0.8944.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 95.545.
