Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Forestry & Paper, Chemicals and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Residences Dar Saada SA (CS:RDS), which rose 3.94% or 6.00 points to trade at 158.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Delta Holding S.A (CS:DHO) added 3.80% or 0.99 points to end at 26.99 and CTM (CS:CTM) was up 2.35% or 10.00 points to 435.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Med Paper (CS:PAP), which fell 6.00% or 1.08 points to trade at 16.92 at the close. Stroc Industrie (CS:STR) declined 5.83% or 5.95 points to end at 96.00 and Sonasid (CS:SOND) was down 5.83% or 38 points to 613.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 17 to 12 and 3 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 5.66% or 2.41 to $44.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 5.10% or 2.42 to hit $49.98 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.76% or 8.50 to trade at $1131.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.23% to 10.8710, while USD/MAD rose 0.57% to 9.7507.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.54% at 96.26.
