Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Agriculture sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.31% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 2.48% or 65.0 points to trade at 2685.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 1.83% or 25.0 points to end at 1390.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was up 1.42% or 960.0 points to 68420.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which fell 2.84% or 30.0 points to trade at 1025.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 3.65% or 380.0 points to end at 10020.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was down 1.77% or 580.0 points to 32100.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 10 to 10 and 10 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for September delivery was up 0.08% or 0.12 to $142.77 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 0.79% or 16.00 to hit $1998.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.50% or 18.91 to trade at $1281.51 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.49% to 3012.62, while BRL/COP fell 0.38% to 954.81.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 93.41.
