  • The Game Storm Studio partners with Ready Games to help in its transition to web3 gaming.
  • The partnership is expected to bring new developments in the blockchain gaming space.
  • Ready Games is set to launch its first NFT collection this summer 2022.

Pakistani gaming dev The Game Storm Studio has inked a deal with web3 gaming firm Ready Games to help in its transition to the web3 space and develop the next blockchain games.

“We are partnering with Ready Games because they have a complete and efficient tech stack and rapid execution strategy to enable us the opportunity to enter into game development in web3.0,” said The Game Storm Studio COO Jawad Amjadto. “[The partnership will] allow us to innovate new game mechanics and player experiences, all within under a month, allowing us that first movers advantage.”

Notably, Game Storm boasts over 1,000 titles and 1 billion downloads in its portfolio. According to sources, Game Storm is the biggest game studio in Pakistan, with over 300 employees and offices spread out through the US, India, and Dubai in the UAE. With 10 years of experience developing mobile games, the team revealed that it is time for them to expand its focus to web3 gaming.

Both parties believe that the collaboration makes sense given the backgrounds of each firm in their respective niches. Martin Cormier, the CTO of Ready Games, said, “We offer a very efficient and easily adaptable set of gaming infrastructure tools that assists game developers to build or transition their games on the blockchain with the least amount of friction as possible.”

Cormier said that integrations just take under 30 days, without the need to hire additional web3 resources. The platform also offers a vast roster of beta testers amounting to 40,000, and they make sure every project is compliant with Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) and Google (NASDAQ:GOOGL) standards.

US Police Dog Mall Chase and Pet Cat Sims are the latest games developed by the gaming firms. Both have garnered a combined 15 million downloads and 250,000 daily active users.

Ready Games recently launched its Beta Tester Campaign in June, which saw over 40,000 registrants. These beta testers are said to gain perks during Ready Games’ first NFT drop in the coming summer this year.
