As of March 23, 2018, WisdomTree Trust - WisdomTree Japan Hedged Real Estate Fund has gone out of business. WisdomTree Trust - WisdomTree Japan Hedged Real Estate Fund is an exchange traded fund launched by WisdomTree Investments, Inc. It is co-managed by WisdomTree Asset Management, Inc. and Mellon Capital Management Corporation. The fund invests in the public equity markets of Japan. It invests, directly and through derivatives such as forward currency contracts or futures contracts, in stocks of companies operating in the real estate sector, including real estate investment trusts and real estate management and development companies, and companies engaged in homebuilding, building products, construction and engineering, construction materials, and marine ports and services. The fund invests in the stocks of companies having market capitalization of at least $500 million. It uses derivatives to hedge against fluctuations in the relative value of the Japanese yen against the U.S. dollar. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the WisdomTree Japan Hedged Real Estate Index, by using representative sampling methodology. WisdomTree Trust - WisdomTree Japan Hedged Real Estate Fund was formed on April 8, 2014 and is domiciled in the United States.
