ProShares Trust - ProShares UltraShort 3-7 Year Treasury is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by ProShare Advisors LLC. It invests in fixed income markets of the United States. The fund takes short positions and uses derivatives such as swap agreements to invest in U.S. dollar denominated, investment grade U.S. treasury securities which have a remaining maturity of more than 3 years and less than 7 years and that are rated at least Baa3 by Moody's and BBB- by S&P. It also invests in money market instruments. The fund seeks to replicate twice the inverse of the daily performance of the ICE U.S. Treasury 3-7 Year Bond Index, by using synthetic replication technique. ProShares Trust - ProShares UltraShort 3-7 Year Treasury was formed on April 4, 2011 and is domiciled in the United States.
