SPDR S&P/ASX 200 Financials Ex A-REIT Fund is an exchange traded fund launched by State Street Global Advisors, Australia Services Ltd. It is managed by State Street Global Advisors Australia Limited. The fund invests in the public equity markets of Australia. It seeks to invest in the stocks of companies operating in the financial sector, which include banking, mortgage finance, consumer finance, specialized finance, investment banking and brokerage, asset management and custody, corporate lending, insurance, and financial investment, and real estate management and development and excludes real estate investment trusts (REIT). The fund invests in the stocks of large-cap companies. It seeks to replicate the performance of the S&P/ASX 200 Financials Ex A-REIT Index, by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. SPDR S&P/ASX 200 Financials Ex A-REIT Fund was formed on March 15, 2011 and is domiciled in Australia.
