SSGA Active Trust - SPDR DoubleLine Short Duration Total Return Tactical ETF is an exchange traded fund launched by State Street Global Advisors, Inc. It is co-managed by SSGA Funds Management, Inc. and DoubleLine Capital LP. The fund invests in fixed income markets of global region. It invests directly and through other funds in securities issued or guaranteed by the U.S. government or its agencies, instrumentalities or sponsored corporations, inflation protected public obligations of the U.S. treasury, securities issued or guaranteed by state or local governments or their agencies or instrumentalities (commonly known as municipal bonds), asset-backed securities, collateralized debt obligations, collateralized loan obligations, collateralized bond obligations, collateralized mortgage obligations, real estate mortgage investment conduits and re-REMICs, stripped securities, zero coupon securities, foreign and domestic corporate bonds, sovereign debt, bank loans and preferred securities of any credit quality. The fund invests in securities with a dollar-weighted average effective duration between 1 and 3 years. It employs fundamental analysis with bottom-up and top-down security picking approach to create its portfolio. It seeks to benchmark the performance of its portfolio against the Bloomberg U.S. Aggregate 1-3 Year Index and the Bloomberg U.S. Aggregate Bond Index.
