PIMCO ETF Trust - PIMCO Global Advantage Inflation-Linked Bond Active Exchange-Traded Fund is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by Pacific Investment Management Company LLC. The fund invests in the fixed income markets of countries across the globe. It primarily invests in intermediate-term high-quality inflation-linked bonds issued by corporate or quasi-government which are rated Baa or higher by Moody's, or equivalently rated by S&P and Fitch and with a portfolio duration within two years (plus or minus) of the effective portfolio duration of the securities comprising the PIMCO Global Advantage Inflation-Linked Bond Index. The fund employs fundamental analysis with a combination of bottom-up and top-down security selection approach focusing on factors such as sensitivity of a security's price to changes in interest rates to create its portfolio. It benchmarks the performance of its portfolio against the Bloomberg Barclays Universal Government Inflation-Linked Bond Index and the PIMCO Global Advantage Inflation-Linked Bond Index (USD Partially Hedged). The fund was formerly known as PIMCO ETF Trust - PIMCO Global Advantage Inflation-Linked Bond Exchange-Traded Fund. PIMCO ETF Trust - PIMCO Global Advantage Inflation-Linked Bond Active Exchange-Traded Fund was formed on April 30, 2012 and is domiciled in the United States.
