On analysis of the S&P 500 Futures since Chinese President Xi Jinping said that the China wants to work out an initial trade agreement with the United States, I see a repetition of sliding moves in the S&P 500 this month.
I think President Xi Jinping's statement may enhance uncertainty in global equity markets, which have already experienced a fear of economic slowdown due to decreasing probabilities of a partial deal on the Sino-U.S. tariff trade-war front as the U.S. House of Representatives has already passed two bills to back protesters in Hong Kong and send a warning to China about human rights, a measure that angered Beijing.
