Calithera Biosciences Inc (NASDAQ:CALA) had a good day on Wednesday, and with a thrust it popped out of a wedge, going straight up 2.00, or 11.11%, to 20.00, on 1.2 million shares traded. At this point, it’s probably headed towards my next target at 21 as early as Thursday. The secondary target is in the high 20’s.
Exelixis Inc (NASDAQ:EXEL) popped out of a rising wedge on Wednesday, gaining another 1.19, or 4.68%, to 26.61, on 4.7 million shares traded. Very bullish. The technicals could be better, but this is awfully good for a run to 30. It has 5 days to cover .
First Solar, Inc. (NASDAQ:FSLR), a swing trade of ours, came out of a falling wedge, jumping 1.98, or 5%, to 41.79, on 3.3 million shares traded. If the volume picks up and blows through 41.79, I’m looking for 47, and then 52 as targets. A nice little rising channel will do it.
Swing trade, Kemet Corporation (NYSE:KEM) is doing great. It broke out of a wedge a week ago and is moving up steadily. It had one inside day, but since then it’s been up several days in a row. On Wednesday, it was up another 1.22, or 8%, to 15.94, on 2 million shares traded. The next target is 17 1/2-18
