Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Communication and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which rose 2.15% or 138 points to trade at 6559 at the close. Meanwhile, Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TASE:ORL) added 1.41% or 2.6 points to end at 187.6 and Poalim (TASE:POLI) was up 1.25% or 34 points to 2764 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Isramco Negev 2 LP (TASE:ISRAp), which fell 2.49% or 1.8 points to trade at 70.4 at the close. Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) declined 2.25% or 146 points to end at 6353 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) was down 2.08% or 1160 points to 54560.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 188 to 188 and 36 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.68% or 0.38 to $56.26 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.70% or 0.44 to hit $63.62 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.47% or 6.65 to trade at $1416.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.16% to 3.5277, while EUR/ILS rose 0.27% to 3.9337.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 97.488.
