WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Mike Donilon, a longtime adviser to U.S. President Joe Biden, will return to the White House for the final six months of Biden's presidency, a White House official said on Friday.
Donilon had left the White House earlier this year to join Biden's reelection campaign before the president dropped out of the race on July 21 over questions about his age and health.
Donilon served as chief strategist in Biden's 2020 election win over Republican Donald Trump.
