Investing.com - European stocks were mixed after the closing bell on Thursday.
At the close of European trade, Germany’s DAX fell 0.83%, London’s FTSE 100 gained 0.28%, France’s CAC 40 declined 0.57% and the EURO STOXX 50 was down 0.04%.
Earlier in the day, industry data showed that Pending home sales in the U.S. fell less-than-expected to a seasonally adjusted 2.4% last month from 8.2% in the preceding month.
Analysts had expected Pending home sales to fall to -2.0% last month.
Meanwhile, on Wall Street, equity markets were up after the open. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.34%; the S&P 500 index gained 0.58%, while the Nasdaq 100 index climbed 1.19%.
