WASHINGTON, June 24 (Reuters) - Russia is working to resolve outstanding issues with other countries in the World Trade Organization and hopes to join the global trading body in 2011, the country's chief WTO negotiator said on Thursday.
WTO negotiator Maxim Medvedkov, speaking after talks between Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and U.S. President Barack Obama, said Russia would "do everything possible" to join the WTO, "probably next year."
