NEW YORK, Oct 13 (Reuters) - Wall Street opened higher on Wednesday after a bullish forecast from Intel and solid earnings from JPMorgan Chase along with expectations the Federal Reserve will move to prop up the economic recovery.
The Dow Jones industrial average jumped 45.87 points, or 0.42 percent, at 11,066.27. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was up 5.10 points, or 0.44 percent, at 1,174.87. The Nasdaq Composite Index rose 11.43 points, or 0.47 percent, at 2,429.35.
