NEW YORK, Dec 3 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks rose on Friday to close out their best week in a month, shrugging off tepid jobs growth in a sign that the rally may have further to run.
* The Dow Jones industrial average added 19.68 points, or 0.17 percent, to end unofficially at 11,382.09. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index gained 3.18 points, or 0.26 percent, to finish unofficially at 1,224.71. The Nasdaq Composite Index climbed 12.11 points, or 0.47 percent, to close unofficially at 2,591.46.
For the week,the Dow gained 2.6 percent, while the S&P 500 climbed 3 percent and the Nasdaq rose 2.2 percent. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; Editing by Jan Paschal)
