NEW YORK, Oct 13 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks rose to fresh five-month highs on Wednesday as stronger-than-expected earnings and continued U.S. dollar weakness increased demand for equities.
* The Dow Jones industrial average rose 75.68 points, or 0.69 percent, to close unofficially at 11,096.08. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index gained 8.33 points, or 0.71 percent, to finish unofficially at 1,178.10.
